Dr. Mortimer is a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant with Hall Mortimer Associates providing vocational rehabilitation counseling, placement, and consulting services to individuals with disabilities in a variety of employment settings, including: the private sectors and academic sector. She is experienced in expert testimony, case management, educational and career counseling, vocational evaluation (including administering and interpreting of vocational tests), job analyses, labor market surveys, wage earning capacity, vocational plan development, transfer of skills analysis and ergonomic and assistive technology recommendations.

She also worked as Adjunct Faculty with San Diego State University – Rehabilitation Counseling Program, and was the project director and evaluation specialist for The Work Center, a service which provides assessments including vocational evaluation, functional capacity screenings, assistive technology and job accommodation evaluation and occupational analysis. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist and has completed certification in Rehabilitation Technology. Dr. Mortimer completed her B.S. in Recreational Therapy and her M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University. She completed her doctorate at Capella University in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Her areas of professional interests include assistive technology, ergonomics, work assessments and evaluation.
