Ann Eubank, LMSW, OTR/L, ATP, CAPS has focused her career on the use of technology to increase opportunities for independence within the community of people with disabilities. She has a background in research and development, nonprofit management and systems change. She worked within the Employment Community First Program in Tennessee facilitating the adoption of technology use for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ann has presented peer-reviewed papers nationally and internationally since 1995. Ann is currently the Director of Marketing and Business Development for SafeinHome.

Dawn Cook is a licensed Registered Nurse who has worked with serious and catastrophic illness and injury with over 40 years of experience in clinical settings and as a life care planner and medical bill reviewer. Dawn is an experienced life care planner who holds the certified life care planner (CLCP) and certified nurse life care planner (CNLCP) designations.
Rebecca A. Reier

As President of Med-Econ, Inc., a medical practice management company based out of Greenville Ohio, Ms. Reier’s experience spans a period of over 40 years involving billions of dollars in coding and billing for medical charges for hospital services, ambulatory surgery center and physician groups ranging from single practitioners to 40-member groups in over 22 specialties.
She authored Chapter 28 in the AALNC Textbook on Principles and Practices Fourth Edition regarding the Medical Record and the concept of Usual, Customary and Reasonable aspects of medical charges and is experienced as a Medical Billing Expert specifically for medical billing litigation cases for major law firms in 39 states. She has provided services for both plaintiffs, defendants, Life Care Planners as well as acted in the capacity of a patient advocate as a Medical Billing Expert Witness for attorneys representing patients being charged excessive fees by providers.
Ms. Reier’s educational background includes a summa cum laude BS in Biology and Secondary Education from the University of Charleston, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA – Retired) from The Ohio State University and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) from the American Health Information Management Association.
Jensen Blahnik, MS, CPO – Clinical Specialist
Jensen Blahnik is a WA certified and ABC certified prosthetist and ABC certified orthotist. Blahnik joined the Naked Prosthetics team in January 2021, as a clinical specialist and education outreach specialist. She engages with healthcare providers and prosthetics to provide and support prosthetic outcomes to those with partial hand and digit amputations.
Dr. D’Wan Carpenter, DO
Dr. D’Wan J. Carpenter, D.O. is a dually board-certified Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, speaker, independent medical examiner, medical legal consultant, and damages expert. Dr. D’Wan has experience in all post-acute care settings including inpatient
rehabilitation, subacute rehabilitation, and outpatient clinical
rehabilitation. She uses her expertise in musculoskeletal conditions to determine patient’s level of disability. In addition, she is a highly
credible and sought-after medical legal expert assisting attorneys in
ensuring their clients receive appropriate physical assessments to determine liability and harm. In addition to her osteopathic medical degree, Dr. D’Wan also holds anMaster’s of Science in Anatomy. She is able to combine her love for the human body and her passion for teaching. Her patients often comment on how appreciative they are at how she is able to explain complicated conditionsnin a way they can easily understand. As a compassionate and down to earth

Dr. D’Wan earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now renamed Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine). She completed her internship at Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute in Saint Petersburg, FL and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Oakwood Hospital/Wayne State University in Taylor, MI.
Kimberly Gully,
MS, CCC, CCM, CBIST
Kim Gully is a speech language pathologist by original training who specializes in working with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries, strokes, anoxic episodes, and other neurological conditions. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1984, a Certified Case Manager since 2005, and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer since 2009. She retired in 2020 after enjoying a 35-year career as a therapist, case manager, support group leader, local/regional/national speaker, and brain injury advocate. She is currently working to advocate for individuals who need assistance navigating through the recovery process after a traumatic brain injury. She runs a support group for brain injury survivors and caregivers and is the President of the Medical Speech-Language Pathology Council of California.
James (Jim) Quinn,
RN, BSN, LCP-C, CLCP
James Quinn is a registered nurse licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as a certified life care planner with over twelve years of nursing experience. He has written life care plans for both defense and plaintiff clients in areas of traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, surgical revisions, orthopedic and crush injuries, chronic pain, amputations, burns, electrical trauma, end-stage renal failure with dialysis, and end of life planning related to terminal illness. He holds a certification in acute/critical care nursing and maintains basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, and pediatric advanced life support certifications. He is a member of the International Academy of Life Care Planners (IALCP), American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), American Academy of Professional Coders, and American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP). He is an active member of the AANLCP Journal Committee and was the recipient of the 2018 winner of Excellence in Collaboration and Teamwork at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Mr. Quinn has extensive experience as a critical care nurse with additional expertise in post-surgical and post-cardiac care intervention, orthopedic injuries with rehabilitation, general medical management of acute care and emergency room patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. He has also served as a mentor to both graduate and experienced nurses within various specialties of nursing.
Shelene Giles,

Shelene Giles is the founder, president, and CEO of FIG Services, Inc. She is a Certified Life Care Planner and educator at heart. Shelene was a 2019 AANLCP Ambassador award recipient. In addition, she was awarded the Outstanding Life Care Planning Educator Award from the International Academy of Life care planners (IALCP)/International Association of Rehabilitation Professional (IARP) in 2021.
FIG Services Inc. offers Complete Nurse Life Care Plans to identify future medical and nonmedical needs for individuals sustaining catastrophic or complicated injuries/illnesses. Her team specializes in life care plans for individuals with catastrophic burns. They also teach educational courses (live and Virtual) related to life care planning for certifications (CNLCP and LCP-C) and continued education.
Richard Bays

Mr. Bays has served in numerous capacities in the healthcare industry ranging from clinical services and operations to administrator of surgery centers and hospitals. He has assisted medical device companies with streamlining their processes and supply chains which provided capture of multimillion dollar waste.
His experience includes healthcare bill & policy consultation, medical- legal consulting for healthcare attorney groups and oversight of accreditation, licensure, and regulatory compliance programs.
He is a frequent speaker at numerous conferences and has published articles on healthcare regulatory issues nationwide.

Becky Curtis
When asked what qualifies her to coach people with chronic pain, Becky Curtis, certified Pain Management Coach and founder of Take Courage Coaching®, often replies, “I have it.” Overwhelmed by burning nerve pain following a spinal cord injury in 2005, Becky discovered the secret to managing pain was only a secret because an effective system for implementing patient compliance to science-based modalities had yet to be discovered. Knowing from personal experience that coaching is the best approach to motivate people and encourage personal use of strengths, she founded Take Courage Coaching® to provide this much needed service to those with chronic pain. Jerry Bridge
Jerry Bridge began his successful seminar and workshop development career with QuadraMed Inc. where he delivered presentations and facilitated workshops on practice management, revenue cycle, customer service and seminars to medical managers and billing staff nationwide. He later went on to become the founder and president of Bridge Practice Management Group and Lifeworks Education, where he developed additional material focused on practice management, revenue cycle and customer service as well as seminars and training courses in personal productivity, communication skills and decision making. He is now a well-known expert on topics such as leadership, teamwork and public speaking. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Jerry has made an impact not only as a speaker but as an author with his work on The Healthcare Collections Solutions Guide, The ICD-10 Transition Guide, and his 2015 published work, Who Cares? The Give and Take of Family Caregiving.
Dr. John Stark, MD
Dr. John G. Stark is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with 37 years of experience. His extensive treatment of orthopedic trauma, joint degeneration, reconstruction, and low back salvage create a unique skill set that he utilizes as a basis for effective independent medical evaluations.
He carefully studies mechanisms of injury, injury patterns, diagnoses of others, underlying disease processes, imaging and previous treatment. This data, combined with a cautious physical exam of his own, help shed light on difficult cases. Dr. Stark has retired from his surgical practice but is still a lecturer and surgical instructor on the sacroiliac joint in Europe.

Sofia Peeva, MD
Sofia Peeva ia a board certified Anesthesiologist with expertise in ketamine administration. Dr. Peeva has used ketamine to help her patients for over 8 years and she finds that this medication has an excellent safety profile and no long term side effects. In recent history ketamine infusions for the treatment of mental health and chronic pain have been validated in clinical trials which show 80-90% efficacy by top US institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Columbia and USC. As a Licensed Professional Fiduciary, Susan Ghormley provides private and court appointed fiduciary services in estate and personal management. Susan works to protect the physical and mental integrity of her clients who have no one else to rely on, or whose families live too far away or are unable to assist them. She often holds and manages all the assets and resources belonging to elderly, incapacitated or deceased individuals. Services are also provided for families needing an independent third party when struggling over distribution of assets. Susan is a trustee for family, special needs, and other trusts. LeAndra McCormick,

Leandra McCormick is a California licensed professional fiduciary and has been a member of the American Purchasing Society for over a decade. Her professional services include acting as a trust administrator, conservator for client estates, and case manager. She also serves as a special needs Trustee and handles SNT case Management. In addition, she has dabbled in HR management and often times will handle court accounting.
LeAndra is the current president for Professional Fiduciary Association of California, Southern Region, as well as the PFAC state executive board treasurer. She sits on the education committee to produce class and online education for PFAC.
