We encourage submissions targeting all experience levels, from foundational guidance for new planners to advanced topics for seasoned experts.

cross-examinations. - Defending the Plan: Bulletproofing nursing recommendations and successfully navigating
defense or rebuttal reports. - Transcript & Deposition Review: Analyzing past testimonies to identify risk areas and improve
courtroom performance.
2. The Evolving Practice & Technology
- AI & Clinical Judgment: Safely integrating Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies
while maintaining ethical, clinical standards. - Ethics & Business Strategy: Navigating complex ethical dilemmas and implementing successful
business growth strategies for both new and experienced planners.
3. Specialized Clinical Methodologies
- Neurotrauma & Complex Brain Injuries: Advanced treatment modalities for Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and the long-term, evolving implications of Cerebral Palsy (CP).
- Catastrophic Medical Management: Best practices in Seizure Management, complex wound care, modern burn injury treatment, and managing multi-system trauma.
- Chronic Illness & Comorbidities: Addressing progressive neurological conditions, chronic pain management, orthopedic trauma, and secondary complications over the lifespan.
- Aging, Lifespan & Continuity: Navigating the compounding care considerations, physical decline, and changing resource needs of an aging population.
- Don’t see your specialty listed? We highly encourage submissions on any emerging clinical, legal, or business topic relevant to life care planning. Help us push the boundaries of the profession by submitting your unique session proposal.
4. Specialized Evaluations & Rehabilitation
- Diagnostic, Vocational & Economic Integration: Incorporating Neuropsychological Evaluations (NPEs), Vocational Evaluations, Forensic Economic Assessments into life care plans to ensure comprehensive damages valuation.
- Reintegration & Support: Navigating intensive therapy programs, community re-integration, assistive technology, and home modifications.
Submission Requirements and Guidelines:
To be considered by the Conference Committee and Executive Board, all applicants must submit a detailed proposal containing the following elements:
1. Presenter Profile: Full name, professional titles, credentials, company name, contact information,
and website (if applicable).
2. Presentation Format: Indication of whether this is a single presenter or a joint presentation with
co-presenters.
3. Session Title: A catchy, professional, and descriptive title.
4. Abstract (250–300 words): A comprehensive summary of the presentation, highlighting its
relevance to Nurse Life Care Planning and the summit theme.
5. Learning Objectives: Exactly three (3) measurable learning objectives (e.g., "By the end of this
session, participants will be able to identify three categories of…").
6. Speaking Experience & References: List of prior speaking engagements on this topic and one
professional reference with firsthand experience evaluating your presentation skills.
7. Conflict of Interest: Disclosure of any potential financial or professional conflicts of interest.
